Hal is a free geometric typeface with an industrial, utilitarian, condensed design style designed and released by Kyle Robertson and inspired by 2001 – A Space Odyssey, one of the most popular Kubrick movies. The font is free for personal use only, if you need a commercial license you should contact the author.

Hal is a free typeface and currently only comes in one weight. The typeface includes extended language support, alternate glyphs, arrows, ligatures and more. It is a very flexible typeface which can be used for both print and online use.
