Web concept for the new reddit website. Part of the Uplabs Reddit redesign Challenge.
The main idea was to keep it simple, clean yet flexible. So while it's layout, colours and elements are simple and modern by default which makes it lighter and fresh. It offers a variety of customisable feature to add the personalisation factor to his/her own community with just a few tweaks.
# HomepageThe homepage is rather cleaner and shows section based layout for different types of post with horizontal carousel for top posts, as I think it'd be better to remove all the clutter for new users so that it becomes easier to understand.
# PostsThe posts have the new card based layout but user can switch between the old list type view too. Post types are better distinguishable with tags and have only relevant action against them.
# NavigationIt now has a fixed side nav coupled with the top nav, both of which can be toggled to get a distraction free layout.
